Laugh for the Cure® has been recognized by the Komen Charlotte Affiliate, the Komen National Affiliate and several corporations for the work its founder and committee members have done to raise awareness and funding for breast health education, screening and treatment efforts in their community.

  • In November 2006, Tammy S. Greyshock, Founder and Director of Laugh for the Cure®reg;was named a 2006 Link Leading Lady by 107.9 The Link. The award was presented to Tammy at the annual Link Leading Lady banquet held in January 2007 at the Palmer Building in Charlotte, NC.   • In March 2006, Tammy S. Greyshock, Founder and Director of Laugh for the Cure®was named a 2006 Yoplait®Champion. Tammy was one of 25 champions selected by Yoplait®, SELF Magazine and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as part of their annual nationwide search for ordinary individuals doing extraordinary things in the fight against breast cancer.   • In May 2005, Tammy S. Greyshock, LFTC Founder and Director, was named the 2005 BMW Drive for the Cure Local Hero. The award was presented to Tammy during an awards ceremony hosted by Hendrick BMW and The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.   • Interview with Ramona Holloway, star of the Matt & Ramona Show, on 107.9 The Link. The interview was taped as part of the station's Link Leading Lady program. The interview first aired on November 17, 2006.
  • Interview with Lenise Ligon, WBTV Anchor, on March 29, 2006. The interview aired on WBTV during the 5:00pm news and celebrated Tammy S. Greyshock's Yoplait®Champion recognition and Laugh for the Cure®is success in Charlotte.
